Burton on Trent
Burton upon Trent, also known as Burton-on-Trent or simply Burton, is a market town in Staffordshire, England, close to the border with Derbyshire.
The population is around 72,000. It is situated within the centre of Leceistershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, alongside the River Trent.
It is a busy market town, with various shopping centres, plenty of parking in the town centre. The is a great mix of small and large businesses, including the larger chains and the smaller independent businesses too. The town is served by Burton-on-Trent railway station. The town was also the start and terminus of the now defunct South Staffordshire Line which linked it to Lichfield, Walsall, Dudley and Stourbridge.
